A round container printed in red, brown, white and black featuring a feminine figure wearing a gown in profile surrounded by a floral garland on its lid. Text reads, “Light Face Powder.” A product description on the bottom reads, “[text obscured] the finest powder I have ever found. The beauties of the stage and screen, with whom I mingle, use it. And they are most particular. I have it made for me by the best experts I know. This grade of powder, under other names, sells at extravagant prices. Nothing could be finer, more harmless, or better suited to the skin. In three shades-white, flesh, brunette. For myself, I prefer this powder with a heavy base. Then it clings and stays. If you do also, ask for Edna Wallace Hopper’s Heavy Face Powder in the square box. / Edna Wallace Hopper Chicago U.S.A.”
