Yardley Flying Pegasus Carryall

A rectangular brass carryall with white enamel inlay of a pegasus flying through the clouds over a country landscape. The carryall is designed to hold many women’s accessories in one object. This carryall contains: a mirror, lips tissue holder, lipstick compartment, rouge, powder and perfume. The clasp is set with a coral cabochon. Lifting the clasp and opening at the hinge gives access to the inside of the carryall. The bottom is engraved with a sky scape similar to the brass inlay on the front.
