Helena Rubinstein opened salons in 5 continents before releasing her line of beauty aids. She studied dermatology and began making medicated skin creams as her first products. Helena Rubinstein amassed a large fortune from her business ventures and with that fortune, Helena Rubinstein established the Helena Rubinstein Foundation that coordinates her philanthropies, including gifts to museums, colleges, and institutions for the needy with a focus on women and children.
