Founded by Patricia Gordon in Chicago, IL as a family run business in Chicago’s south side. Patricia “Fannie” Gordon was a chemist, business executive, writer, lecturer, radio host, and advertising guru for the company. Princess Pat weathered government regulation of advertising as well as a factory fire as an American cosmetics company. Patricia Gordon ran Princess Pat with her husband Martin Gordon until his death in 1955. Five years later, Patricia Gordon died, and with her death, the cosmetic company ended.
