1940s U.S. Army Double Compact

A rectangular brass compact with enamel graphics depicting the Great Seal of the United States with text reading, “U.S. Army,” above. Inside, the compact opens to a mirror the entire area of the top of the compact. Opposite the mirror, is a powder well and puff. Under the powder well is another puff. The bottom of the compact is engraved with a geometric design.
