A teardrop-shaped brass compact with a small central set of eagle wings. There are two ovals at the center of the wings. The ovals are red and blue enamel surrounded by simulated diamonds. Under the wings the wings, the compact is engraved with the name, “Katy.” The compact opens on a hinge with a finger ridge. Inside, the compact has a teardrop-shaped mirror the entire area of the top. Opposite the mirror is a powder well engraved, “Elgin American,” and a space for a missing puff.
