E. Virgil Neal was involved in many, sometimes fraudulent businesses, and in order to escape some of his bad investments, Neal created a cosmetics company, To-kalon. The business would later get rid of the hyphen in its name, and became, “Tokalon.” The personal life of Neal often got in the way of business, and later caught up with the company. Tokalon was purchased and traded in mostly European markets before its last product was sold in Switzerland.
