Lucien Lelong built his fashion house in Paris where he successfully catered to famous clientele and employed some of the best designers of the era. His cosmetics line was just as prestigious. Both the quality of the product and the unique design put his products into a luxury market. The fashion house ran until it was purchased in the 1990s.
